Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
Our parish uses the Rite of Christian Initiation of adults to receive new members into the Catholic faith. The R.C.I.A. is a process of information for adults inquiring into the Catholic faith. The R.C.I.A. is also for persons who may have been baptized, but did not receive the other sacraments of initiation (First Holy Communion or Confirmation).
The R.C.I.A. is also for Catholics who would like to deepen their experience of faith.
Religious Education (C.C.D.)
C.C.D. classes for young people aim at developing an awareness of the riches of the Catholic tradition and encourage the spiritual and moral growth of the student. Through learning experiences, prayer services and development of a community spirit in the classroom, dedicated C.C.D. teachers reinforce the religious atmosphere of the family.
